Rod Stewart celebrated Scotland’s return to the World Cup as he travelled by private jet to watch his team at the Boston Stadium with his sons – a day after cancelling his show in California.

The singer, 81, cancelled his gig at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on Friday after receiving advice from doctors.
