Rod Stewart reportedly stormed off stage at a recent concert, cutting the set short before a fan-favourite song.
Fans at the gig in Plymouth were left gutted on Saturday night, June 24, as the legendary singer kicked off his run of UK summer shows which includes a special trip to Edinburgh Castle.
However, the audience were left shocked and disappointed after the 78-year-old finished what was believed to be the second-to-last song of his encore at just after 10.30pm and the stage turned to darkness.

Adding to frustration, Rod's last song was expected to be Sailing which holds a special meaning in the naval city. It is unclear why the concert ended as abruptly as it did, with the venue having permission from the council to run until 11pm, Plymouth Live reports.
However, it is understood the gig was due to finish at 10.30pm as a spokesperson for Plymouth City Council said: "Despite rumours and reports, Plymouth City Council and the venue did not ask Rod Stewart to finish early last night."
One fan, Lucinda Maxwell, said: "After attending the Rod Stewart concert yesterday evening he finished his second to last song, the finale being We Are Sailing to be told it was 10.30pm and he couldn't continue.
"With this Rod stormed off the stage and the concert was left without light. Hundreds of fans like myself were left in shock and waited for an iconic moment dedicated to the Navy."
Helen Burrow added: "Four of us attended the Rod Stewart concert at Home Park. It was a fabulous night but what an abrupt end. A guy dressed in black came onto the stage and ordered Rod off because of a curfew.
"Rod, of course, immediately left and the lights came on. OMG no goodbye to fans, no encore. Everyone was stunned at the rude and abrupt ending to what was an amazing concert.
"Who was the guy in black who asked Rod to leave the stage? Why did Rod end the concert so abruptly? We were at the front and poor Rod looked stunned.
"Another few minutes to finish and say goodbye is all it would have taken. He had not even reached the end of the song before he was asked to leave the stage They should have started earlier if they had such a strict policy."
Rod Stewart is widely acclaimed as one of the most remarkable singer of his era.
