A rock ejected from a Geocon construction site on Northbourne Avenue smashed the window of a neighbouring home, an ACT parliamentary committee has heard.
Officials from the ACT work health and safety agency have told a budget estimates hearing that construction works on Geocon's "urban village" at 220 Northbourne Avenue, Braddon, damaged a nearby building at least twice in 2026.
ACT Work Health and Safety Commissioner Jacqueline Agius said her team had visited the site numerous times in response to notifiable incidents and public complaints.
