Rochelle Humes is surprised her 10 year marriage to husband Marvin has lasted in their "crazy industry".
The 33-year-old singer found fame as part of girl group The Saturdays, whilst Marvin is best known for his part in four-piece boy band JLS, and as the pair celebrate 10 years of marriage this year, Rochelle has admitted she didn't think it would last.
She explained that a 10 year romance is very "rare" in the music industry, as she revealed her plans for a renewal ceremony with her husband so their three kids - Alaia-Mai, Valentina and Blake - can be involved this time around.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine today, she said: "When we got married, we said - if we're still married, because in this crazy industry it's quite rare, if we're still married, we'd love to do something to mark 10 years.
"So definitely, we're going to do some sort of renewal. It'll be nice for the kids because they weren't there. And they're always like, where were we? And I'm like, you didn't exist back then!"
Her comments come after Marvin revealed exclusively to The Mirror what the secret to their happy marriage is.
"I think for us we appreciate our luck and I’m just lucky that I’m with someone I love and I’m best friends with," he said, "Just because we’re in the same industry, that doesn’t mean anything.
"For us, we met and we could have been in other jobs and we would have still be together. I don’t know what the secret is to be honest. We just do normal things and go on date nights and stuff. We’ve got three amazing kids. We’re mum and dad, husband and wife, and we’re friends and it’s like … I don't know, we just sort of make it work - touch wood."
Rochelle is grateful to have such a supportive husband in Marvin.
"We need men like him because, though in my career I have always been surrounded by so many strong amazing women, we can only go so far," she explained of their close bond and love for one another.
"We need to be singing from the same hymn sheet, we need to bridge that gap between men and women."
