Rochelle Humes revealed a rather surprising connection to singer Anne-Marie as she hosted Tuesday's This Morning.
The mother-of-three and her co-host Vernon Kay invited Anne-Marie and Sir Tom Jones into the ITV studio to discuss the new series of The Voice UK.
Speaking about his game plan as a mentor, Sir Tom explained: "I try to get different kinds of singers on the team. I try not to have too many that sound similar, because you’ve got to pick songs for them, see.
"I’m looking for variety… but once in a while you get tripped up. If I’ve already got three or four girls and another girl comes on who’s strong, I’m like, 'What am I going to do here?'" he added.
Sir Tom and Anne-Marie have become really good friends since she joined the show as mentor in January 2021.
Towards the end of the interview, Rochelle was keen to confirm that she had known the 'Ciao Adios' singer a lot longer.
Rochelle informed viewers she and Anne-Marie used to go to the same dance school together along with fellow singer Jessie J.
Rochelle's mum Roz had dug up an old cutting from a show programme the three were in together as children, and as it flashed up onscreen, Anne-Marie laughed.
"That’s me at the top, Anne-Marie and then Jessie J underneath. We were in a show called Whistle Down the Wind," Rochelle explained.
Anne Marie then commented: "We’ve come a long way!" to which Rochelle added: "Still got the same Essex accents!"
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
