After eight years with the club, Roberto Firmino is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season on a free transfer.
The Brazilian forward joined the Reds from German side Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015 and has become one of the club’s most popular players during his time on Merseyside. In that time, Firmino was a key figure in one of Liverpool’s most successful recent periods, winning the Premier League title, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Firmino formed one of English football’s most talented forward lines alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, as well as a strong affiliation with Reds supporters, gaining the nickname ‘Bobby’ - and that song... Si Senor indeed. The 31-year-old produced plenty of magic moments for the club over the years, including scoring the Reds' 1000th Premier League goal at Anfield in 2019 and becoming the first Brazilian player to score 50 Premier League goals.
