Robert Rinder has been treated in hospital hours after appearing on Good Morning Britain today (Tuesday). The TV star, known as 'Judge' to viewers, was hosting the ITV breakfast programme with Ranvir Singh.

He posted on social media to reveal to fans that, after the cameras stopped rolling he was undergoing an operation. Sharing pictures from the ITV news programme, the 44-year-old also posted images of him in a medical gown while laying in a hospital bed, reports the MEN.

Rob was praised by viewers after he took deputy leader of the Labour Party Angela Rayner to task over whether her party would be committed to reducing government spending.
