The Ravens extended their impressive preseason streak on Saturday, winning their 24th consecutive exhibition game by defeating the Eagles. The streak extends all the way back to the 2015 preseason.
While some fans and observers downplay the achievement, others believe there is something special about the streak. ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III, who spent the last three seasons of his NFL career in Baltimore, explained why the feat is so impressive.
“The Ravens’ NFL Record 24 STRAIGHT PRESEASON WINS IN A ROW isn’t meaningless,” he wrote on social media. “It’s a testament to the depth on the roster and great coaching. This year they finally have the pieces in place around Lamar Jackson to bring a Super Bowl back to B-More.”
