Robert De Niro has welcomed his seventh child at the age of 79, but he's been keeping quiet about the identity of the baby's mother.
Speculation is already mounting that he is dating Tai Chi instructor Tiffany Chen and Robert's close friend and co-star Kim Cattrall appears to have confirmed the rumours.
Speaking about the actor's baby news, Kim said she is happy for the couple, before she gushed over "gorgeous and sweet" Tiffany.
"God bless him, his significant other. Tiffany is such a beautiful woman.
"She came to the set once with her family and watched filming, and she was gorgeous and sweet. I'm happy for both of them," Kim said during the premiere for her and Robert's upcoming film About My Father.
Actor Sebastian Maniscalco also congratulated his co-star.
"I was informed today that he had the baby I didn't know leading up to this that he was going to have a baby but uh yeah God bless him.
"He's a very soft-spoken individual loves to spend time with his family and I'm happy for him," he told Extra.
Robert confirmed his baby news while promoting his upcoming comedy movie, which is set to be released later this month.
During an interview, he was asked what it was like to be a father-of-six, before correcting the interviewer.
The Academy Award winner commented: "Seven, actually," before confirming: "I just had a baby".
While his fans may have been left shocked by the baby announcement, Robert revealed he wasn't surprised and admitted the pregnancy had been planned.
Appearing at the premiere for his new film on Tuesday, Robert was asked if he was surprised by his baby's arrival, to which he firmly replied: "No."
Speaking to Page Six, he added: "How you could not plan that kind of thing?"
It's not been confirmed who the baby's mother is, but Robert is rumoured to be dating Tiffany after they met on the set of his 2015 movie The Intern.
Robert and Tiffany were last photographed together in March as they left a dinner date in Los Angeles. Tiffany appeared to have a baby bump at the time.
