Robby McCrorie Scotland booking mystery solved as UEFA explain yellow card punishment

ROBBY MCCRORIE was booked for Scotland last night for "delaying the restart of play", UEFA have confirmed.

The Rangers goalkeeper was an unused substitute during the Nations League showdown in Krakow against Ukraine.

McCrorie is yet to make his Scotland debut, but he has now picked up a first booking for his country.

The 24-year-old was involved in a touchline incident delaying the ball from returning to play in stoppage time as Scotland ran down the clock.

Steve Clarke's side needed just a point from the Ukraine showdown to secure promotion to Group A of the Nations League.
