Robbie Savage was swept aside by a Tottenham fan for suggesting Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou should take over from Ryan Mason.
The Australian has been touted for several Premier League jobs after he performed a major overhaul of the Parkhead squad in his debut campaign and led the club to a double in his debut campaign. He is on course for a domestic Treble this term having already claimed the league title and the Viaplay Cup - with the Scottish Cup Final against Inverness next month the final hurdle for the Hoops.
A caller into 606 insisted that interim boss Ryan Mason should land the job permanently - despite a lacklustre run since stepping into the top job after replacing Cristian Stellini, who had replaced Antonio Conte in the hot seat in North London. Slot has emerged as the frontrunner for the Spurs hot seat as Daniel Levy looks to next season with the hopes of Champions League football rapidly fading under the watch of Mason during a disastrous campaign.
The caller said: "What do I know about the other candidates? We are not in a position to go a get a boss we don't know. We don't know what Arne Slot is like, I don't know."
Savage responded by listing candidates who have proven themselves in Britain that they may prefer - including the Celtic boss.: "Well, if people don't know about Arne Slot people know about Brendan Rodgers. They know about (Roberto) De Zebri. People know about Ange Postecoglou."
However, the called quickly shut down talk of the Parkhead boss moving to Spurs from Scotland sticking with rookie boss Mason as his pick. They went on: "It's a different scenario. We don't know what Arne Slot is like."
