Robbie Neilson tells Celtic and Rangers their Hearts ticket allocation won’t go up anytime soon

Robbie Neilson has backed Hearts' decision to cut Celtic's ticket allocation to just 1000 for tomorrow night's Premiership crunch at Tynecastle.

And he insists that he wants Ann Budge and the Jambos board to continue the policy whenever the Old Firm comes to town.

Celtic had been given 3800 briefs - the entire capacity of the Roseburn Stand - on previous occasions but Hearts believe their own supporters will snap up the extra tickets now available to them.

Tynecastle's official capacity is just over 20,000 and Neilson said: "If we can get 19,000 Hearts fans there then I would take 19,000 all day.

"I'm behind the decision and if we can sell out the rest of the stadium to Hearts fans then we do it. It’s something I’d like the club to continue to do.

"Other teams don’t have the capability to do that so they have to give a bigger allocation to the away team."
