Downtrodden Robbie Neilson admits he watched one of Hearts' worst performances of the season against Motherwell.
The Jambos boss took his men to manager-less Fir Park with Stuart Kettlewell the interim boss in charge of the Steelmen. But it was a day to forget for the Gorgie when Jon Obika and Blair Spittal scored the all-important goals to secure a massive three points for the Well. Defeat for Hearts meant missing out of the chance to go eight points clear of rivals Hibs in third place.
And Neilson admits his side were somewhat bullied in Lanarkshire with him branding the Sunday afternoon display 'the worst perfromance' he had seen from his team in a 'long, long time'.

He told Sky Sports: "I thought we were miles off where we need to be and it's probably the worst performance we've had for a long, long time to be honest with you.
"We've had some consistency in the play but today we were just slack and poor which was just very, very disappointing. We've got to get better.
"It's massively frustrating. They obviously get the cross and the flick on and we switch off with the second ball which we shouldn't do and that gives us an uphill challenge after that and allows Motherwell to sit in.
"Credit to Motherwell, they played well today and made it direct. The strikers bullied our centre-halves and that was the disappointing thing. We just weren't where we should be and where we have been for the majority of the season."
