A gang whose targeted robbery led to the death of an innocent man “partied the night away” as their victim lay dying on his bed.
Thomas Broadhurst, Kevin Nethercote, Terence Bennett and Kevin Condliffe targeted their friend Thomas Edmunds in an attempt to steal cash he had saved from his job as a labourer.
But the 36-year-old died after Broadhurst put him in a fatal chokehold during the robbery at his Kirkby home in May last year.
