Rob McElhenny wishes Wrexham co-chair Ryan Reynolds happy birthday in hilarious fashion

Wrexham AFC co-chairman Rob McElhenney paid tribute to Ryan Reynolds on his birthday with an amusing video filmed at the Racecourse Ground in Wales.

Back in November 2020, the American and Canadian actor duo purchased the club amid plenty of fanfare. McElhenney - famed for his role in ‘Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ - and Reynolds regularly tease each other as part of a number of PR stunts to help boost the club’s reputation.

An example was seen earlier this year, with McElhenney presenting Reynolds with a ‘commemorative urinal’ for his birthday back in April. However, he opted to mark the Deadpool star’s birthday with a blimp flown from Wrexham’s home stadium on Sunday.
