Rob Havenstein uncertain to play vs. Cardinals after injuring shoulder in practice

The Los Angeles Rams opened the week with zero players listed on their injury report. Every single player was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice, an excellent sign heading into this weekend’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Unfortunately, the blank injury report was short-lived. On Wednesday, right tackle Rob Havenstein injured his shoulder in practice and was only a limited participant. Sean McVay provided an update on the veteran lineman Thursday, telling reporters that he’s not sure if Havenstein will be able to play against the Cardinals on Saturday.

McVay is still hopeful that Havenstein can go but said “we’ll see” about his availability. Havenstein isn’t practicing today, which is the Rams’ last practice of the week before kickoff on Saturday night.

If Havenstein can’t play, Joe Noteboom will start in his place on the right side of the line.
