Road rage: Two thrash 61-year-old in northwest Delhi’s Aman Vihar

NEW DELHI: A 61-year-old property dealer was allegedly been beaten by two unknown men over a petty issue here, police said on Sunday.

In the incident that took place on Friday afternoon in northwest Delhi’s Aman Vihar area, the victim was identified as Harikesh Sharma, a resident of Pratap Vihar part two.

A case has been registered in this regard under relevant IPC sections, police said.

The victim told police that he was going to work when a vehicle parked on the other side of the road blocked the way for a bike coming from the opposite direction. “Men on the bike started abusing me, asked me to reverse my car," he said.

When he rolled down his window and asked them why they abused him, they hit him in his eye and ear, he said. When Sharma came out from the car to catch the accused, they thrashed him.During the scuffle, a ring (from his finger) fell, the accused picked it up and ran away, he alleged.
