A main road in Liverpool was closed after a crash involving a police car.
Rimrose Road, in Bootle, was cordoned off for hours after a crash with a police car and a black Audi Q3 on Saturday, October 10. The crash was reported to have happened at around 10.20am and the road was closed by emergency services until 1pm.
Images from the crash show that the police car had mounted the pavement and damage had been caused to railings. While investigations and vehicle recovery took place, heavy traffic was reported to routes through Seaforth.

A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "At around 10.20am on Saturday 10 October we received reports of collision involving a police vehicle and a black Audi Q3 on Rimrose Road in Bootle.
"No injuries were reported to police. A cordon was in place in the area while emergency services were at the scene."
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival, crews were met with a two vehicle road traffic collision. Both vehicles were on all four wheels, and all occupants conscious and breathing.
"North West Ambulance Service attended shortly after our arrival and paramedics assessed three individuals at scene – two from vehicle one and one from vehicle two. All occupants were able to leave their vehicles without assistance and no occupants were required to attend hospital.
"The scene was then handed over to Merseyside Police, who were also in attendance to assist with traffic management."
