Road builder dumps fresh muck into Bhakra reservoir in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district

KULLU: More muck from the Raghunathpura-Mandi Bharari road widening project was dumped illegally into the Bhakra dam's reservoir in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district on Monday evening.

Eyewitnesses reported that the contractor of Himachal Pradesh Road and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HPRIDC) had emptied truckloads of debris into the Mandwan and other nullahs that feed the Bhakra reservoir.
