Police sealed off two streets and officers are investigating after a body was found in Skelmersdale.
Lancashire Police officers were called to White Moss Road South at around 11am on Tuesday, February 22, following reports of a body being found.
Once at the scene officers and paramedics confirmed a body was found and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers cordoned off White Moss Road South at its junction with Liverpool Road and a bridge on the Liverpool Street side of the M58.
Enquiries are ongoing and crime scene investigators carrying out specialist work remain at the scene.
Eyewitnesses on social media reported seeing "men in white suits" at the scene and a police helicopter in the area.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at shortly after 11am today (Tuesday, February 22nd) to a report that a body had been found off White Moss Road South in Skelmersdale.
"Emergency services are at the scene and enquiries are on-going."
