Volunteers from RNLI Kinghorn Lifeboat raced to the East Lothian coast after receiving reports of someone in possible difficulty in the water.
At around 7.26pm on Sunday, July 9, RNLI crews at Kinghorn were called out near Prestonpans.
Crews scrambled into the Forth where they spotted two jetskis off Port Seton. South Queensferry Coastguard and Fisherrow Coastguard were also called to assist.

Luckily, the jet skiers confirmed they had been stationary and the RNLI lifeboat crews and coastguard were able to stand down.
Taking to social media, RNLI Kinghorn shared: "We were tasked at 7.26pm following a report of a jetski in possible difficulty off Prestonpans.
"On arrival on scene two jetskis were seen off Port Seton and we made contact with them to confirm that they had been stationary off Prestonpans.
"Once it was confirmed no one was in any difficulty we were stood down along with Fisherrow Coastguard and South Queensferry Coastguard to return to station."
