Josh Smith has scored twice as Warrington moved joint top of Super League, despite a disjointed display in a 12-4 win over Hull FC.
Hull took an early lead on Friday (Saturday AEST) after some sloppy Wolves defending, Harvey Barron diving over in the corner for his third try of the season.
Warrington thought they had levelled the scores through Toby King, but his 100th career try was ruled out by the video ref for a double movement.
The hosts piled on the pressure early in the second half and were rewarded when Josh Smith flew over in the same corner as Barron, with Marc Sneyd's conversion edging them ahead.
Barron had a second try ruled out on review for obstruction and Smith scored his second at the death as the Wolves eked out a gritty victory.
