Rivian Discontinues Its Cheapest R1T And R1S As R2 Rolls Out

  • Rivian has stopped selling the cheapest variants of the R1S SUV and R1T pickup.
  • The Dual Standard models, which had smaller batteries and less range, are no more.
  • The change comes as R2 customer deliveries ramp up.

Rivian's cheapest R1S and R1T are no more. The Dual Standard variants are no longer available in Rivian's configurator, some of the brand's closest followers noticed on Tuesday.
