Rivals star Danny Dyer called the late Dame Jilly Cooper “part of the fabric” of the hit TV show, as he reflected on the “tragic news” of her death during the filming of its second series.

The Disney+ show is based on the best-selling novel written by Dame Jilly who died unexpectedly last October, aged 88, after suffering injuries from a fall.
