Ritika does a doubles double, wins third straight state badminton title with Simran, silver in mixed

NAGPUR: The final day of Maharashtra’s first state badminton championship after the pandemic break of over two years brought mixed luck for city shuttlers.

While Ritika Thaker became city’s lone gold medalist, she won silver in the mixed doubles event and Rohan Gurbani & Nikkita Joseph lost their semifinals to clinch bronze in the Nandu Natekar Memorial Maharashtra State Senior Badminton Championship at the Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur, on Wednesday.
