Rising Coronation Street star Millie Gibson arrived in Weatherfield as Kelly Neelan in 2019 and has gone on to win high praise for her portrayal of the troubled teenager.
She was at the centre of one of the long-running soap's most harrowing storylines when her character was sent to prison after being framed for the murder of Seb Franklin and later released before ending up homeless and turning to drugs.
Most recently her abusive mum Laura, who neglected Kelly while she was growing up, returned to the cobbles to tell her daughter that she is dying of stomach cancer and only has months left to live.
