Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has claimed that neither the Red Devils nor Arsenal would be able to pull off a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe during the summer transfer window.
Mbappe is into the final 12 months of his contract at the Parc des Princes and has made it clear that he has no desire to sign a contract extension with the Ligue 1 champions. That has led to a wave of speculation surrounding where his next club would be, with Gunners supporters desperate for Mikel Arteta's side to try and sanction a blockbuster move.
Now, Ferdinand has had his say, admitting that he couldn't see the French international plying his trade at the Emirates Stadium or Old Trafford. Speaking about Mbappe's future on his YouTube channel, the former England international said: "I don’t think he’s even gettable (for Manchester United) at the price they’re talking about for him.”
