Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand singled out Anthony Elanga for praise after the youngster put in another excellent performance against Brentford on Wednesday night.

Elanga has been given a chance by interim manager Ralf Rangnick, starting the last two league games.

The Swedish forward followed up a strong performance against Aston Villa on Saturday with a goal against the Bees on Wednesday, opening the scoring in a 3-1 win.
