Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Cavaliere, took to X on 22 March 2026 to announce that 'Chappell Roan will never perform at Todo Mundo no Rio' while he is in charge of the city.

The decision followed a highly publicised dispute that reportedly involved the singer's security team and Jorginho's wife and stepdaughter.
