Beatles drummer Ringo Starr was forced to put his tour on hold after testing positive for covid.

The 82-year-old musician was forced to cancel a concert after catching Covid-19, his representatives have confirmed. Ringo and his All Starr Band were due to perform in New Buffalo, Michigan, on Saturday just hours after the cancellation was announced.

Sharing an update on the former Beatles star's health, his representation told The Mirror : "Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band were forced to cancel their recent shows at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo Michigan and at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, MN due to illness. It has been confirmed today that Ringo has Covid and the tour will be on hold while Ringo recuperates.
