The 34-year-old global singer appears in a 30-second clip with a vibrant feathered yellow shawl and multiple silver chains as she emerges beneath a single white spotlight.
The clip is backed by the hit-makers 2016 track 'Needed me', and features multiple sound bites of news reports simultaneously edited as the singer appears with a striking hair style and stretches her arms out to the camera.
The audio exerts can be heard saying, “It’s been over six years since the nine time Grammy winner” and other adding “Ri Ri where have you been?” before the shot cuts to the singer placing a polished finger to her lips.
The Diamonds singer, who gave birth to her first child in May last year, will take to the iconic Super Bowl half time stage on February 12.
The coveted Superbowl slot is seen as a major milestone in music makers careers with previous artists including JLo, Shakira and The Weeknd taking on the top spot.
The Barbados beauty previously declined to perform in the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show out of solidarity with former US football player Colin Kaepernick, who became recognised around the world for taking a knee to protest racial injustice in the US.
Last year's artists taking the slot saw Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg , joined by Mary J Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent.
