A London landlord has been prosecuted and forced to pay £9,000 after an inspection found the HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy) was “riddled with fire hazards”.
Officers were alerted to the four bedroom home in Edgware – which had been converted into multiple units – after receiving repeated complaints of- rubbish being dumped outside. Upon inspection, they reported “dangerous living conditions”, including a broken boiler and no smoke alarms.
