Ricky Hatton will return to the ring in Manchester on Saturday and tickets are on sale now.
The former champion will return for the first time since retiring after losing to Vyacheslav Senchenko in 2012, where he will face Mexican rival Marco Antonio Barerra at the Manchester Arena on Saturday and tickets for the event are on sale now.
Hatton's clash with Barrera will take place this Saturday 12 November at AO Arena in Manchester and will act as the undercard to Natasha Jonas' fight against Marie Eve Dicaire.
Hatton has stepped in to reduce the price for fans who want to attend the event. The Hitman, 44, said: "Fair play to the promoters. I was worried some of my true fans were being priced out and they’ve pulled off a sponsorship deal which makes them a lot more affordable.
"They've opened up a section aimed squarely at thousands of my biggest followers. It's going to be where the party's at - and they agreed to price them all at £25.
"It puts them on a par with a night out at the cinema – and we’re going to have a lot, lot more fun with one of the best value boxing cards you could find for a very long time.”
The link to the offer was released on Hatton's social channels at midday today.
Ricky added: "To be able to walk out in front of the fans again in Manchester is a dream for me. I know my days are numbered but it doesn't matter how old you are, you still have to keep setting yourself targets to get out of bed at four in the morning and train - and that's what I've been doing."
Tickets to the event will also give fans access to the packed night of boxing on Sky Sports.
It will include Natasha Jonas' world title unification with Maire-Eve Dicaire, the Dalton Smith vs Kaisee Benjamin British title fight, Brad Rea vs Tyler Denny and Frazer Clarke vs Kamil Sokolowski. Fans' favourite Viddal Riley - who trains with YouTube star KSI - will also be stepping into the ring.
But Ricky - a former two-weight world champion - is the undisputed headline act at the venue where he beat Kostya Tszyu to win a world title.
He also gave Floyd Mayweather Jr a tough fight in a fight which saw 40,000 British fans fly to Las Vegas to cheer him on.
Barrera, 48, will be flying into the UK this weekend ahead of the eight-round exhibition bout.
Hatton said: "He's a great friend and neither of us will be taking liberties - but Marco will definitely be coming over here to try to give me a boxing lesson - and that's where the competitiveness will kick in.
"We'll both be putting on a show for everyone."
