Rickie Fowler What’s In The Bag? 2025 Update

Rickie Fowler 2025 What's In The Bag.

Rickie Fowler What's In The Bag?

Cobra staff player Rickie Fowler is one of the most colorful, popular players on Tour. That being said, he has not won on Tour since 2023 when he won the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He'll be looking for a much better 2025 season and a spot on this year's Ryder Cup team. Let’s check out the club he’s using this year.

Driver

Fowler is a Cobra-Puma ambassador, and as the face of the brand, usually when Cobra bring out a new driver, Fowler puts it straight into play. Unlike in recent years, Fowler hasn't adopted the lower spin model in Cobra's latest range of drivers, instead opting for the DS-Adapt X.

It's a 9° headset on the D2 setting of Cobra's new FutureFit 33 sleeve adapter. This setting keeps the driver at its stated loft of 9° but has moved it upright by 1.4°. This will help Fowler avoid the right miss, as a more upright club will encourage a right-to-left ball flight for a right-hander. He plays it with a Mitsubishi Diamana WB 73 TX shaft.

Fowler also uses a mini driver - specifically the TaylorMade Brnr Copper mini driver. He uses the 13.5° head with a Mitsubishi Diamana WB 73 TX shaft, the same as in his conventional driver. He uses this as a strong 3-wood in his setup, as well as something to be used off the tee.

Fairways

Fowler is yet to make the switch to the DS-Adapt fairway woods, instead opting for the Cobra LTD-X LS fairway. This is in a 17.5° setting, effectively making it his 5-wood. He has the UST Mamiya Lin-Q M40X White 8F5 shaft fitted. The LS models preferred by Fowler are not the most forgiving fairway woods and are aimed at the better player.

Irons

Moving to the irons, Fowler now uses a set of the newer Cobra King Tour irons. This is quite a change for Fowler, who previously used prototype irons, which had a significantly thinner topline and much less offset.

Fowler's set goes from four-iron down to pitching wedge, and he has KBS Tour C-Taper 125 S+ shafts. He has them in an all-black finish, not the chrome you can see pictured above

Wedges

Fowler has three wedges in his bag. He starts with two Cobra Snakebite wedges, the first at 54° but bent 2° strong to 52°, and the second at 58° bent 2° strong to 56°. He then has a Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks wedge at precisely 60.5° in an L-grind. In all three wedges, he uses True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts.

Putter

Fowler is one of many players on Tour now using a L.A.B Golf putter. L.A.B. stands for Lie Angle Balance and is a putter brand making putters that have zero torque balance. The premise of a zero torque putter is a relatively simple one. Essentially, it is a design that allows the face of the putter to stay square relative to the path of your stroke rather than the natural opening and closing of the face traditional putters tend to encourage. This is achieved by the shaft axis running directly through the center of gravity (CG) in the head of the putter, therefore reducing the amount of twisting and helping you return the putter face square through impact more easily.

Fowler uses the DF3 model with a L.A.B. Golf Press Pistol 2 grip. Though one of the more ungainly designs you'll see on Tour, it has become a very popular model over the last 12-18 months.

Ball

For a long time, Fowler had been playing with the TaylorMade TP5x ball with a triangle Pix design on them. His deal with TaylorMade expired at the end of 2024, and he now uses the 2025 Titleist Pro V1. This was the ball brand and model he used before signing his deal with TaylorMade in 2019.

Apparel/Shoes
