Richarlison fears eased but midfielder not spotted in latest Everton training session

Richarlison has been battling it out in training as Everton prepare for a crucial trip to Leicester City.

The forward hobbled off during the second half of the Blues' win over Chelsea - leading some to question whether he could be a doubt for the trip to the King Power Stadium. The club has yet to confirm his status for Sunday's game but images from Finch Farm, released by the club on Friday morning, offered some reassurance. Several pictures showed the Brazil star taking part in full training alongside his team-mates.

Richarlison's performances have been crucial in keeping Everton's survival hopes alive. His winner against Chelsea sparked wild celebrations while it was his stoppage-time strike that earned a point at home to Leicester in the reverse fixture at Goodison.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who returned to the squad on Sunday but was an unused substitute as he continued his recovery from his latest injury, was also involved in training alongside Yerry Mina. The fitness of both players, who have each endured difficult seasons through injury, is set to be vital to Everton's final games.

Blues boss Frank Lampard has spoken of the need to manage Mina - resting him for the Merseyside derby before bringing him backa against Chelsea - and with five games in 14 days, managing the condition of players will be important. Donny van de Beek, who has been ruled out of recent fixtures due to his own injury struggles, was not among the players visible in the training images, however.
