Richard Keys has slammed Everton's transfer business after seeing striker Andre Ayew join Nottingham Forest instead of the relegation-threatened Merseyside club.
Forest beat off competition from Everton to sign Ayew, offering him a short-term deal until the summer after the 33-year-old was released by Qatari side Al Sadd.
Ayew is understood to have held talks with Toffees' sporting director Kevin Thelwell before deciding on a move to Trentside. He arrived in England on Wednesday night, and positive discussions with the Reds saw him move to the City Ground.

It means Everton, in the bottom three on 15 points, made no signings in January or the days after the window closed, leaving former Sky Sports man Keys to question the club's transfer business.
The BeIN Sports pundit took to Twitter to say: "It really is over if Forest can beat you to the signing of Andre Ayew. And I mean no disrespect to Forest, but come on. We’re talking Everton here. Snubbed by Andre Ayew? What next?"
