Richard Hammond has reevaled how dire his financial future got after he left the BBC and Top Gear in 2015.
The TV presenter, 53, was left without an income after a shock exit from Top Gear when co-star Jeremy Clarkson was suspended and then axed for an "unprovoked physical attack" on producer Oisin Tymon. With no finances coming in, Hammond was left worrying over being able to afford private school tuition for his two daughters and his private castle home.
He wasn't the only one worried, as daughter Izzy also feared the family couldn't afford the basics and even a KFC takeaway.
