Following his divorce from his wife-of-28-years Mindy, the death of his father and a “year from hell”, Richard Hammond – the former Top Gear and The Grand Tour co-host otherwise known as ‘Hamster’ – has splashed out on a bachelor pad in Wales.

The former Top Gear and Grand Tour star is understood to have paid the £1.9 million agreed price in cash.
