Richard E. Grant has showcased his Christmas tree in a heartfelt video this week, saying that he decorated it with his daughter for the first time since his late wife's death.
The actor, 65, announced the death of his wife Joan Washington in September last year. The late voice coach, who was 72, had been diagnosed with cancer months prior.
Following her passing, Richard - who has a daughter, Olivia Grant, with his late wife - has been open about the loss and wrote about Joan in his memoir A Pocketful of Happiness.
He has now taken to Instagram to document that himself and Olivia have decorated their first Christmas tree since Joan's passing, with him showing it off in a recent video.
Richard - whose acting credits include Can You Ever Forgive Me? - shared a video of himself sat in front of the decorated tree, which featured various baubles and ornaments.
He commented in the video: "My wife and I were both avowed Christmas-aholics and it's been very nostalgic to put up our first tree since she died 14 months ago."
The actor said that him and daughter Olivia had been unpacking decorations that the family had collected over decades, with him teasing: "As you can see, it's minimalist."
