Leeds Rhinos coach Richard Agar has tested positive for Covid-19 and will miss their clash with Hull FC on Sunday.
The Rhinos confirmed in the build-up to Tom Briscoe's testimonial match that Agar had tested positive following a routine lateral flow test on Wednesday, meaning he will be forced to watch their crucial pre-season game with the Black and Whites from home.
In his absence, assistant coaches Sean Long and Jamie Jones-Buchanan will lead the Rhinos against Hull.
The Rhinos tweeted: "Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Richard Agar will miss this afternoon’s game v Hull FC after testing positive on a lateral flow test on Wednesday, Sean Long and Jamie Jones-Buchanan will look after team matters for the game."
Leeds have named a strong team for the game against Brett Hodgson's side but experienced forward Matt Prior has missed the game as a precaution.
Jack Walker is included on the interchange bench, meaning he could make his first home appearance for Leeds since returning from a long injury lay-off.
