Recently crowned gymnastics world champion Rhys McCLenaghan vowed to go for Olympic gold at Paris 2024 - and named Katie Taylor as his sporting inspiration.
McCLenaghan claimed gold on the pommel horse at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool after a fantastic performance in the final.
McClenaghan qualified in first place for the final, but the pressure was on the 23-year-old after a series of near-misses in major finals in recent years, including a 7th place finish at the Tokyo Olympics.
However, the Down native scooped the gold medal with a score of 15.300 from the judges, with 8.200 for execution and 6.200 for difficulty.
And McCLenaghan told RTE's Ryan Tubridy he now wants to go a step further in Paris and amend for his Tokyo Olympics performance.
It's [dream to win Olympic gold] still there just like the last time.
"I want to go and win an Olympic gold medal for my country.
"When I speak about what I want to achieve that's what I'm waking up every day and saying to myself.
"Disappointments are part of sport; it's about saying to yourself what can I do to never have that disappointment again?"
And when asked about his own sporting idols, McCLenaghan wasted no time in paying tribute to Katie Taylor.
He said: "The greatest female boxer of all time, Katie Taylor.
"The greatest to have ever done her sport - to me that is absolutely incredible, and why can't I do that?
"I've had the pleasure of meeting Katie once and we talked about that 'champion mindset' and it has stuck with me to this day for sure."
