Former Rangers and Dundee United man Charlie Telfer has penned a deal with Airdrie.
The midfielder has put pen to paper with the Diamonds, subject to SFA approval after departing Scottish League One outfit Falkirk in the summer. He completed pre-season with Rhys McCabe's side and featured as a trialist in the NL Cup semi-final showdown with Stirling Albion.
The 27-year-old, who played alongside his new boss as a youngster at Rangers, can't wait to get started at his new club and is excited to be part of the squad for the season ahead. They currently sit fourth in the table with three wins, two draws and one defeat from the opening six games of the campaign. They trail leaders Dunfermline by three points at this early stage.

Speaking about joining his new club, Telfer told Airdrie's official website: “I’m really excited, it’s a good group of lads under Rhys and Dycey - their ideas are really good and it’s something that I’m excited to be a part of.
“I’m looking forward to joining up with the group and adding anything I can to help the team get to where we want to be.”
Boss McCabe added: “I’m delighted to get Charlie in, it’s something we’ve been working on for the last couple of weeks. To get it over the line is obviously pleasing for us.
“Charlie can add to the squad in terms of quality and having that experience as well, he’ll be a great addition.”
