Ever since Rhode launched in Australia, we’ve been able to join in on the excitement with the rest of the globe as the cult-favourite beauty brand announces new launches. From the puffy sleeve case to the Sugarberry Peptide Lip treatment that sent the internet into a tizzy, Hailey Bieber has been keeping us all fed. And she’s been doing all this while cooking up what we think is her most exciting collaboration yet: a collection with her hubby, Justin Bieber.
TBH, we’re surprised that Mrs Bieber hasn’t done a Rhode X Justin collab sooner.
Both Hailey and the brand hard-launched The Biebers X Rhode collection by posting a sneak peak on Instagram this morning. Justin and Hailey posed in some lovey-dovey selfies in Rhode’s new eye masks, pimple patches and lip peptide.
I never knew pimple patches could look so hot.
The Rhode X Biebers collection is comprised of three limited-edition products: Spotwear ($28), Peptide Eye Prep ($43) in Banana Peel and the Peptide Lip Treatment ($35) in Caramelised Banana.
The ‘Spotwear: designed with Justin Bieber‘ pimple patches are a nod to Justin’s experience with acne as a teenager. It also doubles as Rhode’s first ever pimple patch launch. Hailey has been teasing these on her Instagram for a little while, having sneakily posted Spotwear in Instagram photo dumps.
The pimple patches come in five super cute shapes co-designed with Justin: bubble, shroom, curve, jelly bean and daisy — a nod to his song of the same name. They retail for $28 for a pack of 36 stickers (only one design), or $126 for a value pack of all five designs (valued at $140).
Made with 100 per cent hydrocolloid, Rhode says the stickers are clinically proven to minimise the look of spots when worn for six to eight hours. The brand recommends applying them to a clean, dry face. They work to absorb excess oil, draw out fluid, and shield against external irritants, all while being sweat-proof and waterproof up to 30 minutes.
The Biebers X Rhode collection also comes with a brand new edition of the Peptide Lip Treatment and Peptide Eye Prep mask, both viral products and both… banana themed.
I guess he really likes the fruit???
The Peptide Lip Treatment is the same formula that Rhode fans know and love, with a bonus caramelised banana scent. It smells like a banana sweet treat with the bonus of a balm with a glossy finish.
The eye masks aren’t a new formula, either — just a fun new design on the classic Peptide Eye Prep.
The timing of The Biebers X Rhode collaboration makes sense, as Justin gears up to headline Coachella this year. Coachella kicks off on April 10 and goes across two weekends until April 19, with Justin headlining Saturday April 11.
Justin’s collection with Rhode officially launches Sunday April 13, so he’ll be able to use the products as some post-show self-care. In Australia, it’ll be available to buy on the Rhode website at 9am sharp, and a waitlist is available to sign up to now so you get alerted when the collection drops.
If the Rhode pouches and Sugarberry Lip Peptide were anything to go by, I recommend you sign up to the waitlist and set your alarms so you’re ready to go once 9am hits.
