Revenue officers seized over €100,000 worth of cannabis hidden as 'samples' at Dublin Airport yesterday.
Approximately 5.8kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €118,000 was found as part of routine operations
The illegal drugs were concealed in an air cargo consignment described as ‘samples’. It had arrived from the United States and was destined for a Dublin address.

Investigations are ongoing.
A revenue spokeswoman said: "This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the importation of drugs. If businesses, or members of the public, have any information regarding smuggling, they can contact Revenue in confidence on Confidential Phone Number 1800 295 295."
