A London council has been slammed for creating “no-go areas”, as data reveals hundreds of motorists were slapped with fines from a single speed camera in just one day last year.
A CCTV camera on King’s Road near Chelsea issued 851 penalty charge notices (PCNs) to drivers on Sunday, May 12 last year— believed to be the highest number of fines ever recorded in the UK within a 24-hour period.
