"RetroSpace" is a disco-punk sci-fi horror game set in 2177, where humanity searches for a new home aboard a fleet of massive space stations. The game is developed by The Wild Gentlemen and published by Kwalee.
The story follows an unnamed janitor whose ship, Aurora 5, is swallowed by a black hole and left drifting in space. With mutants roaming its corridors and time behaving unpredictably, he must find a way to escape the cosmic nightmare.
The journey blends retro-futuristic science fiction, dark humor, and cosmic horror. Players uncover the mysteries of Aurora 5 while navigating its strange inhabitants and the consequences of the station's time distortions.
Release Date and Platforms
"RetroSpace" is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026.
The game will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Gameplay
"RetroSpace" is a first-person immersive-sim game that combines stealth, exploration, and action. Players can sneak past enemies, hack security systems, create diversions, or use environmental hazards to their advantage. According to the official Steam page, each obstacle offers multiple ways to overcome it.
Players can also unlock Mutamods, which grant mutations that improve combat, stealth, and exploration abilities. The interconnected space station features hidden routes, shortcuts, and secrets, while its cloning system lets players return after death and recover lost equipment. However, repeated cloning can cause unexpected side effects.
