Those who have retired fall into one of five main personality types – including ‘short break Steve’ and ‘care-a-lot Carol’, according to a study.
Research of 1,000 adults who have retired in the last 10 years revealed 30% like to explore the opportunities found in other cities and countries.
Almost three in 10 (28%) who identified with ‘care-a-lot Carol’ love nothing more than looking after the grandkids, pets and even neighbour's plants.
