Retired US citizens using student visas to move to Scotland, top lawyer says

RETIRED Americans are increasingly using student visas to move to Scotland in a “growing trend,” a top immigration lawyer has said.

Jacqueline Moore, partner at Thorntons Solicitors with more than 25 years of experience dealing with people seeking UK visas, has told The Herald that she has noticed a trend of US pensioners “genuinely” wanting to come to Scotland to study.
