Restaurant Wing Trapp chooses Birmingham for first franchise

A speciality chicken wings restaurant and takeaway has announced plans to open its second venue and first franchise in Birmingham city centre, creating at least 20 new jobs.

Wing Trapp was first launched by a trio of friends in Leicester in summer 2018 as 'Wing Shack' but is now targeting the West Midlands with its next opening.

The company has struck a ten-year deal for 2,048 sq ft across the ground and basement level of a unit at the corner of Newhall Street and Great Charles Queensway which was last occupied by sandwich shop chain Subway.
