A restaurant selling £150 golden steaks is locked in a battle with neighbours over plans to more than double capacity.
The owners of Beefalo Meat House in Bolton have submitted proposals to convert the first floor and extend the maximum number of diners from 90 to 225. However, 113 residents have lodged objections to the move citing health and safety concerns, noise at night and parking issues.
One local claimed it will lead to an increase in both traffic and ‘risk of serious accident during school hours’. Another argued the expansion will have a knock on effect on parking for other businesses in Blackburn Road and St Paul’s Church.
